Francesco Totti, Alpha wolf in Roma



Totti, aged 13, joined A.S.Roma for $26,000 in 1989.

On 28 March 1993, in the 87th minute in Roma’s away game against Brescia Calcio, Totti made his debut for Roma’s first team when he was just 16 years, becoming the third youngest player to play in Serie A in Roma’s history.



On 27 February 1994, in the game against UC Sampdoria for Coppa Italia, Totti played as starter for the first time.



On 25 January 1998, Totti completed his 100th Serie A game.



On 20 May 2001, Totti had his 200th Serie A game for Roma.

On 17 June 2001, Roma regained Serie A title after a lapse of 18 years.



On 3 October 2004, Totti scored his 100th Serie A goal. In this year, Totti was named in the FIFA 100, a list of the world's greatest living players, selected by Pele.

On 23 January 2005, Totti finished his 300th Serie A game for Roma.

On 16 January 2008, Totti scored his 200th goal for Roma.



On 9 March 2008, Totti collected his 500th overall appearance for Roma.

On 28 February 2011, Roma’s home game against AC Parma represented Totti’s 600th match for Roma. In this year, Totti was recognized by IFFHS as the most popular footballer in Europe.



On 13 February 2012, he played his 700th game as starter in the match against A.C.Siena.

On 20 September 2013, Roma’s captain Totti signed a new contract with the club, staying in the team till the summer of 2016.

In November 2014, Totti extended his record as the oldest goal scorer in UEFA Champions League history, aged 38 years and 59 days.
